A Grillo's Pickles Bodega headed to New York City as the brand's pickle pop up returned to the Lower East Side for the fourth consecutive year — and this time, you could leave pickled head to toe. Visitors stepped into the Grillo's Pickle Fridge at 2 Rivington Street for limited-time bites and merch available nowhere else, including the debut of Pickle Slides, plus free pickle rides and pickled veggies.
The MetroCard may be dead, but the Pickle Card is alive and well: a punch-card scavenger hunt sent pickle people through six Lower East Side stops — hit them all and try the limited-time offering at each to redeem Grillo's merch. The lineup of menu collaborations with NYC favorite restaurants and bars made the pop up feel, in the brand's own words, like the embodiment of Grillo's.
