Help & answers
All the queries we get asked the most, in one place.
A Pop Up is a temporary event, exhibition or shop that can be set up in almost any location. Brands use them to launch a new product, enter a new market, exhibit art, or create crucial face-to-face interaction with customers.
Whether you're an online retailer looking to meet customers in person, a gallery testing a new neighborhood, a merchandiser clearing inventory, or an emerging artist after exposure, Pop Ups work for brands of every size. You'll benefit from:
We offer spaces across New York City's highest-foot-traffic neighborhoods — Nolita, NoHo, SoHo and the Lower East Side — as well as Miami. We're always adding more, so get in touch if there's an area you're interested in.
Pricing varies by space, season and duration — spring and fall are our busiest seasons, so rates run higher then. Every rental also includes production and marketing support, not just the four walls. Live weekly ranges are shown on each space page, and we're always happy to put together a tailored quote.
Total cost depends on the space, the length of your run and how much you build out. Beyond rental, it's worth budgeting for production (design, build, furniture, painting), staffing, and any marketing you'd like us to run. Tell us what you're planning and we'll scope a realistic budget with you.
Yes — we regularly offer last-minute booking discounts and seasonal promotions, and past clients can benefit from our referral program. Get in touch for current offers.
Our standard rental cycle is a minimum of one week, and your length of stay is flexible as long as we have availability for your dates. We can occasionally make exceptions to the weekly cycle depending on the project.
You're in control of your dates — book anywhere from a single day out to a full year in advance, subject to availability. Booking earlier gives you the widest choice of spaces and dates.
There's no single right answer — it depends on your goals, product and audience. Spring and fall bring the strongest foot traffic; holidays are ideal for retail; quieter months can mean better rates and availability. We're happy to talk through the best window for your brand.
Unlike a typical short-term rental where you get the keys and little else, every Parasol booking includes hands-on production and marketing support from our full-time team — from planning before check-in through to strike at the end of your run.
Our core add-ons are Production and Marketing. Production covers concept and design, painting, furniture rental, installation, signage, staffing and logistics. Marketing covers everything from listings and social to press and paid support to drive traffic to your activation.
We're not just a landlord. As the leaseholder, producer and marketer behind our spaces, we support your Pop Up end to end — before check-in, through your run, and into your next one. No other Pop Up company offers this level of in-house, full-service support.
Our team is on hand throughout your run. You'll have a dedicated point of contact from install to strike, so anything that comes up is handled quickly and your Pop Up keeps running smoothly.
Yes — every space comes with wifi. If you need extra bandwidth or a dedicated connection for POS or streaming, let us know and we'll sort it out.
Foot traffic varies week to week by neighborhood, season and nearby events, so a single headline number would be misleading. We're always happy to talk through what to realistically expect for a specific space and date range.
