Jo Malone – Magic & Mayhem
What ushers in the season of giving more than a giant gift box Pop Up shop? Majestic and unsubtly nestled in London’s Liverpool Street station, Jo Malone’s Magic and Mayhem’s 2019 Christmas Pop Up was an elegantly bold announcement that the holidays are upon us!
Xmas-Passion
The sweetly nostalgic Xmas-Passion was an exclusive Christmas retail shop that whisked shoppers in Barcelona, Spain back to memories of childhood holidays. The soft, golden glow of the lights, the classic green and red palette, and the charming winter wonderland city tugged at customers’ holiday heartstrings.
Chanel No. 5
Not many holidays have a potpourri of scents you can instantly imagine, but the winter holidays sure do. The aroma of pine, gingerbread, hot chocolate, cinnamon, and the smell of an open fire define the festivities. For the holiday season of 2018, Chanel’s N°5 Limited Edition was added to this seasonal blend. The company’s pearl white, warm gold, and rich red made for a stunning display at the Changi Airport in Singapore. It enticed passersby to treat themselves to the classic perfume and to make an aromatic impression on their travels—destination, elegance!
Pandora
The season of giving is magical, so why not a breathtaking holiday hologram projection on one of the busiest streets of Singapore, in front of Ngee Ann City? The Pandora Pop Up wowed shoppers, stopping them in their tracks. This Christmas miracle was brought to life by outdoor ad firm JCDecaux, as part of Pandora’s multi-channel Christmas campaign “The Joy of Giving.”
Post Office UK
Santa isn’t the only festive carrier during the holiday season. The Post Office UK strutted some Christmas spirit in 2013 with a mobile Pop Up to sell personalized Christmas stamps with festive photo-booth props.
Johnnie Walker
It was a blue Christmas in a series of Pop Up stores across Europe in 2015. Though not the sad kind of blue, Johnnie Walker Blue Label designed a series of Pop Ups to cheer up holiday shopping with an experience of taste and style while giving shoppers a chance to get some last-minute gifts.
Coppa Club and Champagne Laurent-Perrier
Nothing eases you into the holiday season like sipping on champagne and savoring dishes of European food while tucked away in your own igloo enjoying a breathtaking view of the London skyline. This immersive experience was orchestrated by Coppa Club restaurant in partnership with Champagne Laurent-Perrier.
Sally Hambleton
This 2019 Christmas nook Pop Up by Sally Hambleton in downtown Madrid, Spain embodies the holiday season. Warm woods, lush greens, and popping reds invite customers right into the spirit of the season.
Fa Fa Land
When you dream about Christmas, you usually envision snow, fireplaces, coziness, and winter. In the sweetly warped minds of Amanda Brown, Rory Dorsey, and Chloe Sommer, there is a magical place in Los Angeles called “Fa Fa Land,” and it’s every bit as fantastically festive as you can imagine.
Fa Fa Land is a pink-cotton-candy-and-candy-cane vibing Christmas Pop Up in Los Angeles, which also functions as a holiday-themed Pop Up Museum. It brims with beautiful Christmas decorations, and, once inside, visitors can explore an array of uniquely decorated rooms. Fa Fa Land’s creators tell us that this Pop Up “was born from the idea that we all need a little more magic in our lives.”
Coca-Cola
Festive fizz? Yes, indeed. Coca-Cola popped up at the City Link Mall in Athens with this adorable and ardently festive Pop Up. The classic pop’s installation invited shoppers into its red wonderland to bask in its perfectly-suited-for-the-holidays brand.
