Dillon + Lee presents, Reflection – Blue, our first solo exhibition of Japanese artist Katsumi Hayakawa (b. 1970). Hayakawa considers his grouping of painstakingly hand-crafted paper sculptures as a play in the idea of the void and the solid. Exploring the idea behind the urban landscape, in this exhibition, he combined different materials such as paper with plastic as a metaphor for the natural and the artificial, the ancient and the modern.
