Edie Parker crafts pretty things that make you happy. With craftsmanship at our core, we create covetable objects and accessories that beckon collection and bring about joy. Founded in 2010 in New York City by designer Brett Heyman, Edie Parker sprang from Brett’s love of mid-century style. Inspired by acrylic bags made in America in the 1950s and 1960s, she collected the vintage purses and researched their long-lost designers and original fabrication techniques. When Brett could no longer find the clutches she coveted at vintage and second-hand shops, she decided to remake them for a new generation.
Since the brand’s inception, we have used the highest quality of materials to create original objects that make a statement. Produced exclusively in America and Italy, the brand focuses on the handmade quality of each item. Edie Parker is known for disrupting the evening bag category with its unexpected use of material and bold color. Edie Parker launched the bespoke collection in May 2012, allowing consumers to customize their clutches and home items by selecting the shape, color, text and other details. This year the brand continues to expand this program with new silhouettes, fonts and languages.
Conceived of as a line of box clutches, Edie Parker now offers an expanded range of bags and product categories including a home collection, games and jewelry created in a variety of materials with an emphasis on the brand’s signature acrylic. To house the growing world of Edie Parker, the brand opened its flagship store in February 2017. Located in New York City at 781 Madison Avenue, the store is an explosion of color and texture. Watercolor-soaked wood panels line the walls, pink acrylic archways divide the room, Danube marble floors are covered with royal blue carpets and chairs with vintage Pierre Frey fabrics. Brett resides in New York City with her husband and three children. Prior to the brand’s debut, she served as the Director of Public Relations for Gucci until 2010. In 2014, Brett was a finalist for the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund. Edie Parker won the FGI Rising Star Award for Accessory Design in 2016.
