Justin Stutzman, Brooklyn based artist, presents solo exhibition, It Was All a Dream. He will be displaying his new plaster paintings created through the process of mixing pigment into plaster and applying the colored plaster onto canvas in 1/4″ layers. The plaster is then carved away in order to expose colors and compositions.
Once upon a time there was a rabbit name Tokki. Tokki the rabbit was new in town and wanted badly to fit in. So Tokki aspired to become excellent at a game called red rover, a game in which the town was known for. Tokki lifted weights, ran miles, and studied the strategy of the game in order to succeed. Unfortunately, Tokki could never work up enough momentum to break through the barriers of the other teams line; and thus never made the town’s red rover team.
Sometimes you do your best and it still doesn’t get you on the team. does that mean we ever stop dreaming or applying ourselves to new endeavors? No. Sometimes we fail and fins out brilliance elsewhere.
There are just some lessons only grace can teach you.
